We provide tailored, One-stop solutions for Investors and Manufacturers, leveraging our extensive expertise in ECA financing and banking to structure and implement short, medium and long-term financing concepts, enhance project viability, and ensure successful execution for complex, high-volume projects.

Project Finance and Renewables

We provide expert support for partly or fully ECA-backed projects, specializing in tailored, complex financing structures as well as renewable energy solutions across diverse industries. Our scope ranges from very large, multiple-institution projects to classic photovoltaic or wind farm projects in a challenging, dynamic environment.

Trading and Contracting

Our Trading and Contracting team enables the execution of ECA-eligible projects by negotiating customized sales contracts, ensuring transparency, maintaining direct access to manufacturers, and consolidating agreements into a single, ECA-backed sales contract for efficient implementation.

Execution

Our project Execution team ensures seamless realization of ECA-covered export financing projects by managing Sales and Purchase Contracts, tailoring export documentations, coordinating contractual processes with tailor-made export documentations as well as the execution of relevant presentations under loan agreements / Letters of Credit.

Building Components: Residential Complex, Delivery and Facilities

Lagos

We’re proud to share our role in financing a landmark project in Lagos’ Eko Atlantic City: a three-tower mixed-use development that blends commercial and residential spaces in the heart of this emerging metropolis. Our financing solution covers all three buildings as well as the platform they are built on. Currently the largest project on Lagos Island, the development is backed by a EUR 75 mio. financing package through Commerzbank and KfW IPEX-Bank, with insurance coverage from BPI France and Euler Hermes Germany. This ambitious project will set new standards for urban living and commercial space in Lagos, creating a world-class environment that reflects both the city’s growth and global appeal.

Sugar Refinery

Sohar, Oman

In 2018, Jebsen & Jessen Financial Solutions engaged with Oman Sugar Refinery Co., which aimed to construct a sugar refinery in Sohar, Oman, with an annual production capacity of one million tons and a project volume of around EUR 300 mio. Our role encompassed structuring a comprehensive Export Credit Agency (ECA)-backed Buyer’s Credit facility, including various structured financing solutions, and facilitating the execution of this complex, high-value project. This structure integrated AKA Ausfuhrkreditgesellschaft mbH, DZ Bank AG, and Oddo BHF Aktiengesellschaft as key financing partners for the state-of-the-art sugar refinery that successfully commissioned in early 2025.

As part of the energy transition, we are supporting a long-standing customer of ours in Latin America. For one of the sub-projects in Paraguay, we facilitated the construction of a plant worth EUR 10 mio. in cooperation with Euler Hermes and LBBW, secured by ECA cover.
