The distribution and service company Jebsen & Jessen, founded in Hamburg in 1909, is part of a globally operating, family-run group of companies. Together with sister companies Jebsen & Co. Ltd in Hong Kong and Jebsen & Jessen Pte. Ltd based in Singapore, we have more than 8.000 people on board.

Jebsen & Jessen Hamburg has four main business areas – trading solutions, textiles, garnet sand and industrial services. Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Solutions GmbH is part of the industrial services section and operates in an international environment with decades of industrial expertise, financing competence and trading experience.

Within Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Solutions we provide Financial Solutions for importers, coordinating with banks and Export Credit Agencies (ECA), acting as an independent trade partner.

We are not an EPC(M), but a General Exporter with a clear focus on structuring the financing and implementing a contractual scheme with several Manufacturers that results in smooth implementation.

The Financial Solutions team consists of more than 30 dedicated specialists providing financial services for machinery and goods deliveries worldwide. Regardless of brand or technology, we support individual projects based on the tools of ECA and / or private risk insurance and accompany you through the whole process until your project is successfully commissioned.

Dr. Manuel Probst

Managing Director of Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Solutions / Head of Financial Solutions

Dr. Manuel Probst started his career in our group in 2014. Dr. Probst previously gained many years of experience in structured foreign trade finance in the banking sector in Frankfurt and completed a master's degree in philosophy and a phd in political science.

Following his promotion to Head of Export Finance in June 2016, he has been responsible for the Financial Solutions business unit of Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Solutions and its European subsidiaries as Managing Director since October 2021. He is married, lives in Hamburg and has two children.

Ralf Schwarzhaupt

Managing Partner and CEO of Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Services

Ralf Schwarzhaupt worked as Managing Director in various companies of the MPC-Ferrostaal Group - including as CFO of Ferrostaal GmbH - from 2001 to September 2020. Prior to that, he worked in various areas of corporate banking at Commerzbank AG and has extensive experience in finance and risk management.

In October 2020, he became co-partner and CEO of the Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Services division.

Mr. Schwarzhaupt studied business administration at the University of Hamburg. He is married and has two children.
